Bloomington's first city park, dedicated as Cascade Park in August 1924, in the valley of Cascades Creek on both sides of Old State Road 37 North: a playground, an asphalt trail and wooden boardwalk, picnic shelters, interpretive signs, and the start of the Cascades Park Trail.
