A Bachelor of Science in Visual Arts Education will prepare graduates of this program to apply for an Indiana All School Setting license.
Passionate and engaged visual arts educators do more than introduce their students to art. They help transform their students into critical observers of the world and to discover parts of themselves that have previously gone unexpressed.
Visual Arts Education majors take courses that help develop instructional techniques in a variety of artistic media, from painting to computer art. These students will also receive a strong grounding in education theory, instructional methodologies, and content area coursework to aid them in creating a safe and expressive environment for their future students.
