An 11-acre campus green space and living laboratory with native and exotic trees and plants, dedicated and named for Jesse H. and Beulah Chanley Cox in 1996. It was first the site of the original Memorial Stadium (later Tenth Street Stadium), seen in the 1979 film Breaking Away. The stone Cox Pavilion is on its northwest side, and the 128-foot Arthur R. Metz Bicentennial Grand Carillon (65 bells, completed 2020) plays across it.
